It's been a difficult time but happier having driven over 250 miles! Visited my uncle in Bedford Hospital after his severe stroke. He is awake and with it. Can't say any more than that at the moment. The hospital is great, wonderful, non-patronising staff, great treatment, relaxing music playing in the ward and a very well landscaped garden. Wait and see...
