Early morning chorus

These birds were welcoming the start of the day...and waiting for their breakfast!
I was reading an article about birds and the dangers they are facing with pollution, human settlement encroachment and much more. What really struck me was the sentence that one day we may not wake up to the dawn chorus of birds. What a thought. 
It's been another hot, but very windy, day. I had to change my dress before hubby and I went out as, when I went to the car the dress nearly blew over my head!!
We accomplished a lot in town, and are looking forward to a quiet evening.....and the wind has died down!!
