Day out in the Big City

BACK BLIP
Spent the day in London doing lots of stuff. Went with D2 and met up in the morning with D3 for coffee and cake. D3 had other things to do so us four went off for an Italian lunch. Wonderful place, lots of coloured neon lights making bright signs and pictures around the wall. Strangest thing was the thin neon tubes on the walls of the toilet cubical, felt as if I was sitting inside a pinball machine!
Went to the Sky Garden, 30 something floors up on a city skyscraper, for sunset but it was very overcast so no spectacular views. The city lights from above were very impressive .
Then back into the West End to see Sharon Osborne  in conversation. We had front row seats as you can see. Not really my thing but interesting insight into her life as a celebrity and as the wife of Ozzie Osborne. It started quite early and only lasted 90 minutes so we were back home by 10.30pm . Busy day lots crammed in but very enjoyable.
