Roadina

Our roadrunner friend is spending more and more time at our house.*  Here she is on our porch. I just love her downy belly feathers.  She likes to stop by when I am raking leaves in the early evening.  I think I am making it easier for her to get to the grubs. 

Today she came within two feet of my gloved hand. (OK, yes, we've purchased mealworms).

*Our house is not pink and the door + bench are not red!  My phone filter is to blame
