Déjà Vu
Here we are again, with the wind storming in from the southwest at an average of 31mph (49 kph). My bedroom faces south. Sleeping tonight might be a challenge.
I had a conversation with somebody today about how she moved from room to room the night before last, trying to find a quiet one to sleep in. She failed, but earplugs worked once she had found them.
I had pretty much the same conversation with my friend in Edinburgh yesterday. He ended up sleeping on the sofa in his living room.
I shall have that conversation with myself shortly.
Today's other big event was discovering that my favourite coffee has been rebranded. The new version is on the left of my Blip.
Being a cynical old b*stard, I half expected the weight to be less in the new pack with the price staying the same. The price had come down a couple of weeks ago, as it happens - £4.10 down to £4 does not seem much, but when inflation has been so high recently...
I do flirt with other coffees but I have been drinking Colombian for about 40 years now. I started buying it in a wee specialist shop in Hope Street, Glasgow which is probably long gone.
