Quiet before the storm

Football was a bit breezy this evening. And to start with there was driving rain as well. That eased off after a while and we just had the strong cross-wind to contend with. It didn't particularly favour either team, although it did make controlling the ball difficult. Sadly I wasn't able to take advantage of some chances that presented themselves in the box but I did contribute telling passes that led to others scoring. Things were close for a while but having equalised when B led the ball squirm out of his hands across the line we pulled away. I put in another great near post corner for N to turn in that put us in the lead and J was on great form in front of goal as we eventually won 8-3.
