Two autopilots!

A guy at the club told me in a conversation last summer that he had an old Autopilot but had no idea if it worked.
I called round this afternoon and he produced not one but two!
The Autohelm he believed came with his boat but he’s never tried it out. The other one he had no idea where he got it but it came with the Navico manual.
Take them both he said and the wife says she doesn’t want them back if you can’t use them!
A bit of hot wiring and guess what? They both sprung to life.
The Autohelm is a bit better because it has the course heading on the display.
Looks like I will have to get a new plug and socket because the current one is broken.
What a result!
