The old proprietors...
...of La Grande Maison had a naval history. The house once belonged to the family Dupetit Thouars in the 1700's. Today there is a museum dedicated to their memory at Chateau Dupetit Thouars in St Germain Sur Vienne in Touraine. Did I mention they make some pretty awesome cab franc too!
