Goldcrest Again

Storm Jocelyn has arrived hot on the heels of Storm Isha so it's been an indoor day.  Before the wind rose I opened the bedroom window and captured a few of the birds in the elder tree which included all the usual suspects but also the nuthatch, chaffinches and this goldcrest which is fast becoming a regular.  Towards the end of the afternoon yesterday I spotted the sparrowhawk in the tree but the little birds were all safely away.

It's been another jigsaw day too.  

Thank you Tryfan who suggested I could place a time capsule in the fireplace (see yesterday) before it is boarded up.  I do enjoy a project!
