Yesterday, view of canal from High St. Bridge.
The Feast Day of Saint Ildefonsus. A saint of Spain. 667 AD he passed away.
This view of the Leeds Liverpool canal is quite a peaceful view from Rishton,
the High Street Bridge. There were at that time, several lively ducks, swimming together near the bridge.
The rain has been consistent from this morning and it feels colder than the actual temperature.
After doing a few home tasks, I needed to take a walk. I am ever grateful for my long raincoat from Kendal market. It helps keep dry. The hen house is still in place but not finished. The hens are still in the old hen house. I am mentioning this because I see this as I walk along the path where it is being constructed. There is not much happening here. I am going to listen to Jeremy Vine Show for the interesting discussions about current concerns in the national conversation. We are blessed to have good connectivity and caring people who want to move forward in unity around national concerns.
The lawn is very soaked sadly. I filled up the bird seed. A few resilient pigeons appeared and a sparrow.
I am hoping we can start growing seeds in February, as I have collected many packets of seeds from Amateur Gardening magazine and I have faith some good will result from the seeds.
I know many people are long term suffering and it is heartbreaking and I hope you stay safe and well blip friends.
Just before 5pm the Google weather forecast said our town is 12c but feels like 7c. This is amazing and milder than we have known for many weeks.
