Summer's here...

and out come those portable Bar-B-Qs. It's bad enough when the neighbours start cooking outdoors and the nice summer day you were going to enjoy in the garden is filled with the delightful smell of lighter fluid but tonight I spotted 5 or 6 of the things on Bruntsfield Links. I think you can just see the smoke. For goodness sake why don't you go to a restaurant or eat at home!

Our summers are short enough without the lovely open spaces we have in Edinburgh being polluted by these Devil's fires!!!

Rant, rant, rant...

I spotted one in Holyrood park last week too, not only that but the remnants were there the next day, the 'picnickers' didn't even take their rubbish to the nearest bin!

God, I must be getting old!
