Another pair of sparkling eyes

Not much of a summer's day, today. Very grey, windy and a bit chilly.

I was slaving over a hot stove for most of the morning as Pete's sister, Maria, came over for lunch. Colin popped in on his way back home from Tadworth. So we've had a very enjoyable and entertaining afternoon.

Carol and Ria had to retire from the walk before they made the 100km mark, but they did manage to get over half way. It was hard going.
I think this a tremendous achievement. I am even more proud of them today.
