Well Earned Rest

Gales blowing today, calmer tonight.  Some fine sunny spells, and then some torrential rain at times.  

Day off and up early.  Sammy had a bit of a wait for morning walkies, we avoided the showers when we finally got out.  Headed down to Laura's, mam and dad were in too.  Popped by friends in the afternoon, birthday cake and movie.  Working in the shop this evening, a fairly quiet night.  Walkies with Sammy, and then feet up for the night. 

A fair gale blowing today.  Although the official temperature is warmer, it felt colder than the snowy days we had.  If you look to the hills, you'll spot snow still lying on the hills is much smaller patches now.  After a busy week clearing the snow, this gritter has earned a much needed rest, might not be long before it's out on the road again.  Taken at Mid Voxter, Cunningsburgh.
