Get lost!

A bit of a story behind this photo.
We took the dogs down to Strichen park this morning. Usually there are three swans there, a male, a female and a cygnet. But today, there were four, an extra male had flown in. The resident male decided to chase the visitor away and he trapped him at the side of the lake. I know it’s nature, but we couldn’t just stand there and watch the visitor being attacked so with the aid of a stick, we didn’t hit either of them, we managed to stop the visitor being attacked and he flew to the other end of the lake. However, the resident male was not to be put off so he went after the visitor and this is the two of them flying up the lake again.
I’m glad to say that the visiting swan flew back down and settled beside a shed and the resident male seemed to accept this.
Hopefully the visitor will build up his strength again and fly off to a less hostile area.
