I rarely go into town except on market day, but today I had a two hour appointment at the dentist for a replacement crown. He spent an age cleaning out the root canal, forever changing his long drills. I am always impressed with how careful and meticulous he is, and with the high-tech equipment he uses, including a little camera on a stick that he passes around the teeth to produce a 3-D image on his computer. He’s not cheap, but I personally will only end up paying four euros of the €700 bill. I did a little more shopping and then returned home to catch up on yesterday’s sport.
