In The Cool, Cool, Cool of The Evening

My Dear Princess and Dear Fellow,

I have had two showers and am wearing shorts

THE LEGS ARE OUT

This is because it is HOT today. But also RAINY. Rainy and HOT.

Fortunately it's also a local holiday here - for the Greater Wellington area. I still think regional holidays are dumb, but you don't see me arguing. 

Consequently, Caro and Jasper and I hung out in the house all day, under the air conditioning. 

Inside the house, it is Scottish Springtime.

But in the evening I ventured out. The scorch had left the sun, and all that was left was this sunset.

Jasper woke.up and puttered about too. He and I are very alike.
