Midsummer, Jura

Perhaps we could have expected a bit better of just-after-midsummer ( low cloud, intermittent rain, high winds, rough seas) but this is an impressive view none the less.

It is Jura - including the ferry pier at Feolin - as seen from the Cal Mac ferry to Kennacraig just before we left Port Askaig at lunchtime today.

Though we were only leaving Port Askaig because the weather had caused the ferry to divert from using Port Ellen !
