Dad and Conor at the Zoo

Mum and Orla were going to see Macbeth starring Ralph Fiennes at the Royal Highland Centre by Edinburgh Airport. Dad and Conor dropped them off and only then decided what to do next. The Scottish Museum was considered, but it would have been another 25 minutes into the centre of Edinburgh (and probably the same out again) and the Zoo was just 5 minutes away. Conor had been to the Zoo with school in the summer but said this was a completely different experience - ironically this was much more educational! Conor stopped to diligently read as much of the information about each animal as he could.

The Zoo closed at 4pm so it was onto the Holiday Inn next door for a cup of tea / glass of milk and chilling in the very cosy lobby area before heading back to rendezvous with Mum and Orla. They said the show was amazing.

Back home we all watched Gladiators, The Masked Singer and Michael McIntyre's Big Show. Rat was unmasked as Strictly judge Shirley Ballas, which Mum had guessed right. MMBS was brilliant as usual.
