Blipcorner

What can I see? A wand of hamamelis, dried hydrangeas and lights, a glass of Lucky Saint and a white poinsettia.   All of this adds up to a quiet day with nothing special to blip. 

But I saw the first snowdrop in the garden, the first camellia on the large camellia bush at the end of the house.  Alisdair came to talk about cutting back the looming Laurel tree that hangs over the front door and shed so many black berries last autumn.  

Watched a cut of the International (shorter) version of episode 1. 

Made a date and walnut cake to take over to tea with Mum which spilled over the edge of the silicone cake tin but was delicious.nonetheless. Her cut and her black eye seem to be healing nicely.  

Quiet evening eating left overs reading papers and watching telly.
