Get well gift

The ice storm of this past week put my 80 year old friend and neighbor into the hospital with a broken leg. He’s home now and using a walker to get around.
Today we visited him and his wife and I didn’t want to go empty handed. I know he’s on a very restrictive diet so I couldn’t bring him food and I didn’t want to take him flowers.
So, I thought I’d bring him a prayer that I liked for healing. I was inspired to make this small quilted gift for him with the prayer printed on fabric and using a small stretched canvas as a base.
I haven’t made anything for a few years it seems. I enjoyed creating this piece.
