Ahead of the storm

Decided on a morning walk given the weather forecast. Through the woods and encountering this bracket fungus. Then across to the level crossings where others were also enjoying their walk. Surprised to see the floodwater still frozen and a suspended log. Finally ending at the castle.

Prepared the attic for painting and now listening to the wind howling round the outside. Hope you all come through the storm safely.
