Puck's Glen
The weather was a bit better than forecast - at least it was dry - so we went to Puck's Glen, just a few kilometres from Sandbank. A rocky trail up a lush gorge with a lot of small waterfalls, which were quite full thanks to the recent rain. The woodland was typical of temperate rainforest, with a lot of mosses and lichen.
It was still dry when we got back to the car so we drove a bit further along the road to Benmore Botanical Gardens and spent a couple of hours exploring it.
Having read blethers' blip, I phoned Chatters and was delighted to hear that they had a table for the evening and that they accepted well-behaved dogs. We were not disappointed!
