Ready to go !

We have ticked all the jobs off the list , the bags have been packed and repacked and , weather permitting, we will soon be heading off to the land of snow and ice .
I’ve felt quite restless today but an hour or so spent with Jess and her little family left me feeling more grounded .We attempted a game of “Frustration” with the children ( do any of you recall the game from your own childhoods?)Freya got the idea of moving the stumps along but quickly lost interest and Arthur played quite happily for a bit longer. I was surprised at how easily he converted the dots on the dice into numbers . He is really enjoying his school maths lessons and likes to apply his learning whenever he can . It was lovely to have a bit of downtime with them without the hustle and bustle of workdays. Thank you for all your kind and thoughtful comments yesterday, they were appreciated.
