I had a wander through the village to take some mis delivered mail. I was looking for the annual appearance of a clump of winter aconites but they haven’t come out yet. Then I remembered the slime mould I found on a huge fallen oak tree before Christmas. I cheated and took a tiny bit off to bring home to tog in the warmth and light with a tripod and our new macro lens. We had one but this is better.
Ithink I’ll scatter it round some logs in the garden and see if if they’ll grow there!
