Get to it Herbie . . .

Today I let Herbie out to have a go at the grass.  With the weather we have been having the grass has been growing like mad, but the ground has been too soggy to walk on, let alone mow.
 
This patch is the bit where the hedge  mini-forest was.  The new seeding has taken with a vengeance and is twice as long as elsewhere. Somehow I think it may be a bit to long for  Herbie as the grass bends over instead of getting cut properly.  A little help with the strimmer may be called for later.
 
Battening down for the expected winds later this evening.  Our electricity is fed by overhead lines across the fens and are vulnerable to short circuits and power outages, so torches in a handy place.
