River Birch

We popped over to The Beehive to swap my winter cards for spring ones. We reinvested my takings in an egg & bacon doorstep sarnie for Mr W and ratatouille with eggs on toast for me. Afterwards, we went to look at the fungus that has grown on a piece of wood that Mick, one of the owners, had ear-marked for wood-turning. It was the bark on a tree trunk that really caught my eye. I “might” have given the natural colours a bit of a boost.
