The Canoe Pool

We’re in Newcastle for a few days by the sea. After we’d checked in I did a recce of the recently reopened ocean baths and the adjacent Canoe Pool. Apparently an earlier and smaller version of the pool had a map of the world on its base for young canoeists to navigate. I just walked around it.
