Kestrel takes flight

I know it's not as sharp as it might be but it was just launching itself after some prey. I had a few of it sitting stock still in the tree but this is more interesting. It seems to be the resident kestrel. 

The storm isn't here yet but I think it will be soon. I want to get things done before it arrives. Mainly getting some shopping but a few other outside jobs too. 

The Glasgow family will be here later on their way home from a weekend at Loch Rannoch. Our grandson will be jumping ship and staying overnight. It sounds as if travel will be tricky tomorrow  so it will  good to have him under our roof on Monday morning.
