Beltie
All the football was frozen off, so I had an extended walk on the moor, over to the far corner at Glovershaw and then back via Birch Close Lane and Sconce Lane.
A thaw was underway the ponds were still full of ice. There was a large flock of Lapwing with Starling at Birch Close, and a solitary Kestrel.
The Belties were in their usual spot in the fields by Weecher. They’re made for this environment and these conditions.
