Mirror, mirror, on the wall

A fairly lazy day today. Spent the morning doing the meal planning and online shop, then finished a cowl that I’d been knitting. I don’t have any circular needles so ended up with a length of knitting that needed joining. Rather than having a bulky seam, I taught myself (with the help of YouTube) how to pick up the stitches from the cast on edge and graft the two ends of the knitting together. Really pleased with the result, you can’t see the join!

After lunch, I popped out with a friend to the local garden centre for an hour or so, catching up with her news. It’s good to be out of the house for a while! Then back to catch up with some Japanese to make sure I don’t fall behind - a never ending task! However, we got the result of the assessment last term and I managed to pull off an 80/100 which pretty pleased about.
