Rain,rain go away!

Well another rainy day but it did nt really affect us much.Dropped Richard off at ASDA and then went on to the village of Dores on the South shore of Lochness.Everything looked lovely and there was only a trace of a track leading through a field to show that the annual festival of Rockness had been there a few weeks ago.
The ducks were busy around the tables of the Dores Inn and the Nessie Hunter was setting up his stall to sell his homemade Nessie models.He gave up everything to move up here to search for Nessie that was 21 years ago and he has nt given up hope yet.
After our usual visit to B&Q (be glad when the kitchens finished!) We went in search of the Lily pond near the Black Isle show ground and thank you to Baron and MOLOH we found it and had a walk around managing to avoid the rain but not the wind.
The picture above shows the board walk across some of the boggy ground.The lilies were out but would have looked better on a brighter day.There were plenty of orchids around.
