Radio Silence....

Jess has been on a 'Watersports' trip with other lucky kids from her year group at school....intended as a back to nature, team building, skill developing, life affirming week away....

....in the warm seas of the French Riviera and and on the clear waters of the Ardeche River, I might add....

What an experience for the kids....you would think....but for most of them the main consideration was how on earth they would manage without hair straighteners and mobile phones....!!

At the parents evening weeks ago I laughed, even the mums and dads were concerned "how are we going to keep in touch....!!?"

"You won't be able to"....the teacher leading the trip retorted, (with a smile).

Jess has been gone since last Saturday....we've really missed her....maybe more than we thought we would....both Jess and Sam are very self sufficient, its a product of their home environment....but they are always there on the end of the phone, or updating their status' on Facebook....

This week though, all of a sudden, we have been cut off totally from Jessies world and it I've not like it. The school have been sending tweets from the trip but its not the same, no news about Jess, what she's doing or who she's talking about (or talking about her)....

Then today....there was a tweet....linking to a blog....

As soon as I clicked onto the link and saw the photo....I knew it was Jess. She doesn't seem that happy to be in the water lol.

I feel much happier now....and she'll be back on Sunday :)
