Rufus Report:  Brilliant blue skies on this lovely sunny day, and walking around the green this morning was absolutely marvellous, particularly running in and out the hedgerow. Best of all was when a squirrel was spotted scurrying about in the big tree. This required careful and attentive observation for quite some little while, until it was, reluctantly, time to go home for lunch.

In other news: Bro came for lunch after which we went to Curry's to choose and buy a Smart TV, having finally had internet installed at home this week. Some time later, with mission accomplished, we unloaded the ginormous box in to the lounge where.....
                     ...... I was horrified. What looked like a large screen in the store is absurdly ginormous in my home.  However, we've decided to wait until Monday before any final decision about whether or not to return it for a smaller screen. A period of adjustment to consider such a monstrous change is required.  So, the only sensible decision of course,  was to go to the Gardners for fish and chips and a couple of pints of Greene King IPA.
