Choc ice stout
Lately I have developed a taste for "Pudding Beers" and whenever I see something unusual on a beer shelf then it would be stupid not to buy it! I've tried, Jam Roly Poly Ale. Christmas Pudding Porter. And Mrs G had a raspberry ripple lager. Pictures above is my latest find. A Choc Ice Stout. It was delicious. As we're all my other finds. But they are definitely a "one and done" kind of drink. You're not going to find me buying cases of them. I just like the novelty.
This beer was enjoyed whilst viewing the latest episode of Gladiators, which has returned to our screens. It's Ace!
In other news we had a busy day. Our morning started early with Flicky calling for her Mum and 5:45 am. Wanting to gives Mrs G a break from the constant morning shift with Flicky. I went through to try and sooth her back to sleep. It did not go well. She took one look at me, started to cry and said, "Go away Daddy!" Which was not the best thing to hear from your demon child beautiful daughter first thing in the morning. After a few minutes she calmed down and we read books for an hour and then played hide and seek in her room. Which mainly involved her walking into the cupboard and laughing which is a bit of a give away. But she is young. She will learn.
After breakfast we headed to Scallywags soft play in stonehaven where Felicity played hard. Despite having a run in with a mean boy who wouldn't let her play with the treasure chest, she still enjoyed her self.
It was then naptime whole we drove home and then in the afternoon we went to Duthie park for a go on the swings and a walk round the winter gardens. Once again we missed Spike the talking cactus. He finished his shift at 2 and we didn't get round him until nearly half 3 because Felicity refused to leave the big chute. Which is understandable. It's the best chute in Aberdeen.
In the evening we dined on chicken schwarma and watched big barn farm with Flicky until her bed time. And then Gladiators and choc ice beer. What an awesome day. Roll on tomorrow!
