Snow day ...

... Friday.

As promised yesterday it was indeed a snow day today.  We got an additional 2+ inches throughout the day.  It was really lovely ... especially knowing we didn't have to drive anywhere.

So I spent the day taking lots and lots of pictures of the many birds that were gobbling up the bird seed that Richard kept replenishing.  My collage features only some of the many varieties that come to visit with us.  They are clockwise from upper left: White-throated Sparrow, female Northern Cardinal, female Dark-eyed Junco, male Northern Cardinal and, finally, a Blue Jay.
