Sounds like a line from a Dr Feelgood song

By the time I got all my pics from last night's gig it was the early hours of the morning. Snapped a quick shot of my hand with the Brickyard stamp on the back of it.

I was reminded of the line in Milk and Alcohol by Dr Feelgood about getting such a stamp on your hand at small rock venues. There are places like the Brickyard in most towns and they are the places where most proper bands get their first big break and are spotted by record label scouts. I say proper bands because these days the rest tend to face public humiliation on TV talent shows.

Didn't get a chance for other pictures today because we went to the cinema to see World War Z - apparently it is pronounced Zee - which was highly enjoyable. You can't beat a good zombie flick.
