Norfolk Ing Way

I have been feeling awful this week. So bad that I had wondered if it was the dreaded 'vid, but it turns out that it isn't.

The messy slush from yesterday has combined with the plummeting temperatures to leave the pathways dotted with ice and small icy bumps, which added a nice little frisson to the school run this morning.

Even better was the need to travel to Norfolk today in readiness for two meetings tomorrow. Fortunately, the drive was a good one - aided by listening to the brilliant podcast; The Retrievals, which was harrowing - and I arrived at a curious little hotel to lay my head.

Not before a decent burger and a massive slice of cheesecake....
