Sequins and Tankinis

Ange's 40th

Here she is surrounded by her cards and her friendship tree. We all wrote on a tag about our first memory of her or the funniest memory.

I met Ange 5 years ago when her husband had only just walked out on her, she turned up on my doorstep at a single parents' party I had organised, she knew no one so it was a really difficult thing for her to do. I opened the door to her and her kids and Ange was hidden under a pile of pizzas taller than her.

Ange is tiny but a fighter and she has not always had it easy but last night she was surrounded by love and friendship and she glowed.

Oh and as for the mankini. I was told by our mate Darrern that if I mentioned the Brownless one more time I would have to do the forfeit of having to wear a mankini. Luckily for all involved I was sober and went home early and missed part two of the party where mankinis and phallic objects were involved. And anyway I think I only mentioned them 13 times...
