icy hiking

My friend Emily joined me for a hike to Edale after the school run. Antony very kindly collected us from Edale so that we’d be back in time for afternoon pick-up. It was an amazing day of crystallised snow sparkling under sunny blue skies. Parts of the lanes as we descended into Edale were like ice rivers and quite hilarious to navigate - I’d make a rubbish penguin.

Gratefuls:

1. Living somewhere with glorious walks on the doorstep;
2. Isaac being very happy at his swimming lesson (a huge change);
3. Ant kindly collecting us.
