On our way to Florida

Roger had a dentist appointment first thing, and I had the morning to put a few last minute things in the cases, and do a bit of tidying up, water the plants etc., and then at about noon we headed down to the airport. We had originally planned to drive, stopping a night in Georgia on the way down, but then just out of interest R checked on flights, and found a very good deal with Delta direct to Tampa, so we changed our plans, and gained an extra day either end! Our flight left at 3.15, and got in about 5.30. As you can see from my collage, we had great visibility most of the way down, affording some great scenes. We were very impressed that by the time we had taken the tram to the main terminal and baggage claim, all the luggage was already off the belt, and stacked up to the side. Then we had to take another tram to the rental car area, so by the time we got away from the airport the sun was setting, and it was a beautiful sunset. We had about an hours drive to Anna Maria Island where we are staying the first nine days.
We checked we could get into our rental house OK and took our cases in, then we went out to eat, then to the supermarket to pick up things for breakfast.
