Bumblebee in January

There was a bumblebee (buff tailed I think) on the mahonia this morning, even though it was one of the coldest days this winter! Apparently there was snow in Truro and Penzance, in Falmouth we had a few flakes but most of the day has been sunny although cold, the bird bath was frozen solid.
