Freezing

We made it out for a frozen walk around the neighbourhood. It’s been below freezing for several days now and the ground is like iron, and pretty deadly to walk on in places.
The beck is still running below the crust of ice so the dipper will have something to go at.
There were a surprising number of birds around looking for food, and our Siskin was on the bird table.
It’s Wendy’s birthday today! She is four and told us so several times! She has had a lovely day and her first proper snow fell for her at breakfast time, so she was delighted!
