‘Doggie in the Window’

I was passing Caffe Nero in Stockbridge this afternoon when I saw this Spaniel looking intently out of the (almost) pavement-level window, nose (almost) pressed to the glass. Coming back some five minutes later, and the same scene. Grabbed my phone for a quick shot.

Only afterwards did I realise I'd been spotted by the dog’s proud owner - and with a warm smile, too! It's a nice little scene, don't you think?
