Peewee

This is Peewee, granddaughter I's pony,  needless to say he has not been ridden much this winter.  He lives in the paddock below the house and enjoys watching the world go by.  A Dartmoor hill pony by birth (not a Dartmoor pure bred! I think he has Shetland and all sorts in him) Peewee is very hardy and a good steady ride with small children, but he does like to nip if not careful.

Lunch out with E and S - an extended birthday treat, and T and K took me out to eat last night so I have been very spoilt!

Very cold this morning, it was  - 8C when K  took the children to school but settled down to a respectable 4 C in the sunshine for the rest of the day before sunset.

Very sad news, the son of someone we know was killed in a car accident on the way to work  ........ Such a tragedy and a horrendous shock for the family.
