Turner in Edinburgh
My annual pilgrimage, as it were, to the Turner water colours which are part of the Henry Vaughan bequest and only on show in low light for the month of January, every year and at no cost to the public. The colours are extraordinary especially the ones that were painted on blue paper.
And on the coldest day of year the boiler is down, the plumber promises to be here tomorrow afternoon.
