We haven't seen Hannah and Joey since early December.  Joey is the size of Hetty now but no where near her heft!

We met Sarah and her new rescue lurcher/whippet, Stella, in the park.  Unfortunately, Stella was far too exuberant for both Hannah and Joey. She kept leaping up. I was a bit surprised that Sarah was allowing that behaviour especially as she is very experienced with dogs. Joey would not be put down. Sarah said she'd leave us in peace and Joey relaxed and played.

We went back to our house for tea and cake. Hetty and Joey very relaxed and happy together.

I spent a bit of time with Tim earlier. Officially, he leaves, for Fishponds, on Monday but he says he'll be back on Wednesday. This is a very long goodbye.

Glorious but bitterly cold weather.
