This morning we needed to go up to the Post Office and then to the Evri shop in the village so attempted to walk up Baildon Bank but couldn’t even get up the first part due to the solid ice making it treacherous underfoot. We turned round and went the longer way up Baildon Road. The temperature got down to minus 6c last night and has been below freezing all day. It was lovely out as we were well wrapped up, there is a light dusting of snow in sheltered parts of the village and on the moors above.
The extra is the little blanket I have made for my granddaughter from the one ball of variegated yarn I had, it will be just the right size for her dolls.
