Abstract Thursday: (Worm's Eye) Viewpoint

It's important to prevent babies and toddlers straying into dangerous places, so in addition to a stair gate our son and daughter-in-law have installed a gate between the living room and the kitchen at their house here in Toronto. (Paddy does watch the grown-ups when they open the gate and it may not be long before he masters the technique himself although it took his gran and me a few moments to work it out when we arrived last week!).

Anyway it gave me a suitable subject to use for a worm's eye view photo for today's Abstract Thursday challenge from Ingeborg, who wants us to take blips from unusual angles.
