Walking the Dog

Brrrr - it was cold this morning, but despite this, the Mistress dragged herself out of her warm cosy bed, put layers of merino and her ski jacket on, and headed to the beach! She meet up with another photographer CS to see the aftermath of the storm.

The rollers really were coming in, there was seamist, sun was shining, and it was actually very warm! The Mistress complained she was overdressed! She was!

Lots of people rugged up were enjoying the day, so sunny after a week of rain, dogs were having fun, kids were running around using up all the excess energy after sitting inside all day yesterday.

This image is actually a colour image, not black and white, but shooting into the light has made it a silhouette and silvery gray. Quite effective!

Rarangi Beach is beautiful and the Mistress has decided to go there more often :)
