Life on the Good Intent

Hosed

Early morning after warm night in my own bed - waking feeling almost jet-lagged, I went to refill the bird feeders and water the plants in pots. There was quite a lot of poo on the feeders so I turned the hose on them and turned the flow to hard spray. There was a sudden rustling in the clematis behind and I realised the squirrel had been lurking. She got quite a soaking.
Knowing she would come back when I had filled up the feeders, I went indoors for my camera (and locked the cat flap).
As predicted the scent of fresh food brought her back and I had a blip in the bag before dragging myself off to work.
